SUMMARY: This item provides an opportunity for the board to be briefed on current agenda items, the operations and Texas Education Agency policies, and to be provided an update on implementation of public education-related legislation.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION AND SIGNIFICANT ISSUES: On an as needed basis, the board will be briefed on significant public education issues and events.
